The mission of www.Rv4thecause.com is to:

- Educate professional advisers (attorneys, accountants, CPA, insurance consultants and others) as to how they can tailor planning to better serve their clients living with chronic illness. This will be accomplished by presentations throughout the country under the auspices of various chronic illness organizations and their sponsors, and hosted by professionals, including members of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Professional education credits will be given when feasible, under the auspices of Lorman Education Services, who has graciously and generously agreed to provide credits at no cost to help the RV4TheCause cause.
- Empower professional advisers with the knowledge and materials (speech handouts, power points, etc.) so that they can lecture to those living with chronic illness living in their area. These advisers can leverage the RV4TheCause efforts, grow their practices, and help many people in the process.
- Inform and educate planned giving and major gift officers of chronic illness organizations on how to use creative and sophisticated charitable giving techniques to raise more funds for their causes and better help donors achieve personal, tax and other goals. This will be accomplished through presentations, lectures and meetings with development professionals as well as boards of directors of chronic illness organizations.
- Promote the Funding the Cure books which inform, educate and motivate those connected to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and hopefully future editions for other chronic illness organizations. All proceeds are donated to charity.
- Indirectly raise money for the three charities listed on our home page, as well as the many charities serving the approximately 120 million American’s living with chronic illness. Funds will be raised indireclty by educating and informing the financial, tax and estate planning advisers who counsel donors in the position to make substantial planned gifts.
- Empower those living with chronic illness and their loved ones to better plan their estates and finances through informing their advisers, free seminars for consumers, and the distribution of the book Estate Planning for People with a Chronic Condition or Disability, all the proceeds of which are donated to charity.
- Chronicling the stories of people we meet as we travels across America, in our Airstream trailer, while getting to the destinations for the various speeches, meetings and presentations.
